Cassel to the Lions?
OK, so here's a thought... With the worst record of any team EVER, the Detroit Lions are entitled to a number 1 draft pick. The Patriots are no strangers to trading players to other teams for their top picks. What if the Pats were to work a trade to Detroit - Cassel for their number 1 pick...
top surprises and disappointments through week 14 in the nfl
Well, with 3/4 of the NFL season behind us,it seems again as if half the league is doing pretty much as expected and the rest have been either better or worse then expected. I have my own website and based on my preseason predictions, here are my biggest surprises and disappointments so far in the NFL this season. Take a look and see what you think, and don't be afraid to let me hear what you have to say!Surprises 1. Tennessee Titans 11-1 2. Miami Dolphins 7-5 3. Atlanta Falcons 8-4 4. Carolina Panthers 9-3 5. New York Giants 11-1 6. Pittsburgh Steelers 9-3 7. Tampa Bay Bucs 9-3Disappointments 1. Detroit Lions 0-12 2. New Orleans Saints 6-6 3. San Diego Chargers 4-8 4. Philadelphia Eagles 6-5-1 5. Jacksonville Jaguars 4-8 6. Cleveland Browns 4-8 7.(Tie)New England Patriots 7-5 and Dallas Cowboys 8-4I'll try to come back with a little reasoning on these later, since I wasn't allowed to copy and paste the article I had written today for my subscribers, but for now it's back to work. If you like the NFL and fantasy football in particular, then keep me in mind for next season and sign up for free to get my info for next year. www.johnnynfl.info
Will the Lions finish 0-16?
Will the Detroit Lions of the NFL be the first team to finish a season 0-16? After losing against the Tennessee Titans 47-10 today, they are now 0-12. I watched some of the game and at halftime, they were already down 35-3. Detroit's remaining 4 games are against: Minnesota Vikings (6-5), Indianapolis Colts (7-4), New Orleans Saints (6-5), and Green Bay Packers (5-6). So, do you think they will win one of these games or go winless for the whole season?
MILLEN'S FIRED! (clap, clap, clapclapclap)
C'mon Lions fans, say it with me! We got him out of here! Now, let's bring back Russ Thompson and go back to 2000 when we were up and coming!
Detroit has been without a "real" professional football team for a long time.
Detroit needs to have a professional football team with a winning tradition. Unfortunately, the Detroit Lions do not qualify. Year after year we witness mediocrity at the highest level. Losing records are a custom around here. I like to watch football. Perhaps one of these decades, the Detroit Lions will perform as a professional football team should.

How About Them Cowboys Last Second Touchdown Leads Dallas Past Detroit
The Dallas Cowboys trailed most of todays game, but came back at the end. Jason Witten caught a last second touchdown pass from Tony Romo. The extra point was good and the Cowboys win, Theeeee Cowboys win.
Roy Williams Out For Season Are the Lions Done?
Poor Detroit Lions, this is the team that has used it's last 4 first round draft picks on receivers and there top receiver last year wasn't one of those four.To make matters worse two of the four players are no longer with the team. At least we can be sure they won't make it 5 years row. Although with Matt Millen you never know.
