Discus the Lions and their game here!| Cassel to the Lions? | | OK, so here's a thought... With the worst record of any team EVER, the Detroit Lions are entitled to a number 1 draft pick. The Patriots are no strangers to trading players to other teams for their top picks. What if the Pats were to work a trade to Detroit - Cassel for their number 1 pick... | |
| | top surprises and disappointments through week 14 in the nfl | | Well, with 3/4 of the NFL season behind us,it seems again as if half the league is doing pretty much as expected and the rest have been either better or worse then expected. | | Will the Lions finish 0-16? | | Will the Detroit Lions of the NFL be the first team to finish a season 0-16? After losing against the Tennessee Titans 47-10 today, they are now 0-12. I watched some of the game and at halftime, they were already down 35-3. Detroit's remaining 4 games are against: Minnesota Vikings (6-5), Indianapolis Colts (7-4), New Orleans Saints (6-5), and Green Bay Packers (5-6). So, do you think they will win one of these games or go winless for the whole season? | |
| | | Detroit has been without a "real" professional football team for a long time. | | Detroit needs to have a professional football team with a winning tradition. Unfortunately, the Detroit Lions do not qualify. Year after year we witness mediocrity at the highest level. Losing records are a custom around here. I like to watch football. Perhaps one of these decades, the Detroit Lions will perform as a professional football team should. | |

| | | Roy Williams Out For Season Are the Lions Done? | | Poor Detroit Lions, this is the team that has used it's last 4 first round draft picks on receivers and there top receiver last year wasn't one of those four.To make matters worse two of the four players are no longer with the team. At least we can be sure they won't make it 5 years row. Although with Matt Millen you never know. | |
